Who accepts bitcoin?

Bitcoin is an increasingly popular digital currency that is accepted by a growing number of businesses and organizations around the world. While it hasn’t yet achieved mass adoption, many major retailers, online services, restaurants, and other establishments now accept Bitcoin as payment.

You might be surprised to hear that upwards of one-third of small businesses in the US accept bitcoin. Perhaps the most visible example of businesses accepting Bitcoin is Microsoft. The tech giant allows customers in the United States to buy content from its Windows and Xbox stores using Bitcoin. Other examples of online merchants that accept Bitcoin include Expedia, Overstock, and Shopify. Ethereum-based tokens are also accepted by some merchants in certain countries.
